My experience with OBASA was excellent from start to finish. When looking for a long term stay (4months) accommodation it is a challenge to have it feel more like home than just a hotel. The amenities, accommodation, location and staff all exceeded our expectation. Special thank you to Angie that made the stay for my daughter first rate. Highly recommend OBASA.
Friendly staff and comfortable accommodation. Stayed there for 1 year never felt away from home. Gym and pool table were my favorite places in there. Definitely recommend this to friends and colleagues.
The suites are well appointed and well furnished. It has heated under ground parking at no extra charge which was really appreciated on a cold December day. It is located downtown near shopping and many fine restaurants. Why stay in a hotel when you can pay less than a standard hotel and have all the comforts of home instead of a cramped hotel room.
We spent 3 nights in a modern 2 bedroom apartment with all the amenities and the price was great! Only $129 per night! Had washer/dryer/dishwasher/HD TV! Great location, walking distance to downtown. Recommend this place!
Why anyone would stay in hotel instead of OBASA Suites is beyond me. The management Staff (Angie and her team) made my visit perfect. I stayed in the Hallmark place for a few weeks, but needed to extend my stay. They put me up in one of the best lofts in the city (Rumley Building) and it was fantastic. I recommend spending the extra money and staying at the Rumley Building as it was one of the best suites I've ever stayed in!
I stayed at the OBASA suites in the Rumley Lofts building at it was an amazing experience. To call the room a hotel does it a disservice. This was a high end loft, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It must have been nearly 2000 sqft, has super high ceilings, exposed brick walls, granite counters and more. It was an incredible space, and an amazing value. I've also stayed in the Hallmark building, which was quite nice as well. OBASA has a great model. focused on efficiency. There's no front desk. You get your keys and parking pass from a code lock box in the entrance. Nobody comes in to clean your room until you leave. In exchange for that efficiency, you get to stay in a very nice condo unit, with a full kitchen, outfitted with all the amenities (cups, pots, washer/dryer, even a strainer). It's awesome to have all that if you're going to be away for a while.
